Description |
Our house has everything what you need: Internet, TV, fully equipped kitchen with water boiler and micro wave oven. If you miss something, we just buy it for you :-)
The house is perfectly suitable for the small children, on every floor there is a child fence, we have a baby bed and there is a separate swimming pool for small children.
Ground floor: terrace with garden, patio, living room, newly equipped kitchen with electric equipment (water boiler and coffee machine included), sofa, TV, toilet. Washing machine is in the patio.
First floor: master bedroom with 1 bed for 2 persons, second bedroom with 2 beds, bathroom with bath tub and bidet, grand balcony/terrace. Clean bed sheets and towels are included in the price.
Swimming pool with palm trees is in the inside part of the condominium (open from 15 June 15 to September). There are two pools: one for adults and one for children.
The entrance cards for swimming pool are in a small locker near the entrance. |

Neighbourhood |
The house is situated in a very quiet area, in only 350 m from the beach with wonderful white sand and 600 m from the forest in the dunes with pine and eucalyptus trees. We have a terrace and a beautiful view on the ocean from the balcony.
Have a nice walk at paseo maritime along the beach. Very calming, and you can be sure to find some beautiful shells on the beach :-)
Shopping centre is about 7 min walking distance, with various restaurants and bars.
Fishermen's village of La Antilla is 1 km distance (barrio around calle Cefiro). Very authentic!
Marismas de Isla Cristina - a must see place for a bird lover. You will encounter all kinds of birds in the marches, including flamingo's.
Beautiful Seville is 130 km from Islantilla, unforgettable!
Magic Cordoba and Cadiz are both about 2 hours by car.
All of them fabulous Spanish cities, full of sun, beautiful architecture and history.
Old port of el Terron and Marismas (marches) del Río Piedras are half an hour drive.
National park Doñana near Huelva lies in 1 hour reach and provincial capital of Huelva is 30 min driving.
Golf club is approximately 10 min walking distance.
Portugal with all its beautiful historical coast villages is only 20 minutes driving away. Try one of the fish restaurants there, you will never forget it! Places to go: Albufeira, Casela Velha (10th centrury!), Monte Gordo, Vila Real, Castro Marim, Faro, etc.
And don't forget to visit Parque Natural da Ria Formosa. |

Shopping centre
The closest shopping centre is Centro Comercial y de Ocio de Islantilla, situated on the Av. de Islantilla. It is 13-15 minutes walking distance from Casa Lea.
The closest supermarket
During the hot season, the closest supermarkets can be found on Paseo de Pte, near the beach.
Outside of the hot season you can visit the supermarket El Jamon in the Shopping Centre.
Restaurants
There are restaurants near the beach, just 7 minutes’ walk in the direction of the ocean.
We didn’t try them yet J
We have heard from our friends that this one is nice:
- “La Isla” – the Centro Comercial y de Ocio de Islantilla
Also, they recommended two restaurants in La Antilla:
- Casa Koki - Avenida Castilla 0, La Antilla
- Rodri – Calle Bergantin 8, La Antilla

Bank - La Caixa bank in the commercial centre of Islantilla

House rules |
- No pets.
- No teenagers younger than 19 years without adults
- The building is quiet and the neighbours expect to keep it that way :-)
- Parties and excessive noise are not allowed.
- Non-identified extra guests are not allowed.
- No smoking.
- For sanitary reasons, it is not allowed to drink or eat in the bedrooms, there is a nice living room and a terrace for that purpose. |

How to get there |
It is possible to get to Islantilla by bus from Sevilla and by Transfer service from Faro.We would like to advice to go by car. You can rent one in the airport of Faro or Seville, it is really not expensive. Outside the hot season it is possible to find a car for the price less than 10 euro per day! During the hot season the prices are higher, but still you can find a car for 25 euro per day:-).
By bus from Sevilla:
1. Take airport bus to Sevilla bus station Plaza de Armas.
2. From Plaza de Armas, take a bus of the operator Damas to Isla Cristina. Get off the bus on Islantilla Commercial Center.

3. From Islantilla Commercial Center it is about 15 minutes walk to Calle Calamar (west direction). If necessary, ask somebody how to get to Urbasur, this is the name of the barrio where the house is.
Transfer from Faro:
There are quite some companies offering transfers from Faro to Islantilla. You can find all of them by entering in Google for example "transfer service faro islantilla". El precio puede variar de 80 a 100 euros.
By car from Seville:
1. Follow highway E1 in direction of Huelva and then to Portugal.
2. Leave the highway on exit 117 for the secondary road N445 in direction of "Lepe Oeste" (Lepe West) and go to La Antilla.
3. Before entering La Antilla, turn right on the road HV 7005 to Isla Cristina.
4. After 2,7 km turn left on Camina de las Colas, thus entering Islantilla.
5. Directly turn right on Calle Calamar. Now you a here!
By car from Faro:
Please note, that in Portugal, you have to pay tall for using the highway E1. It is not expensive, about 4 euro. You will be asked by your rental company in Faro whether you are going to use it. It is also possible to go to Islantilla by the secondary road N125. Actually a better view and you will pass a lot of interesting Portuguese villages on the way :-) It takes only half an hour longer than the highway.
1. Go from Faro airport to Spain by E1 (automatic tall) or N125. If you go by N125, before the border with Spain, go to the highway E1, here it is free of toll.
2. Cross the border with Spain (beautiful bridge over the rio Guadiana). In Spain, follow E1 for another 16 km.
3. Leave the highway on exit 117 for the secondary road N445 in direction of "Lepe Oeste" (Lepe West) and go to La Antilla.
4. Before entering La Antilla, turn right on the road HV 7005 to Isla Cristina.
